Who says small workouts can’t be the key to achieving your goal body?
I can’t tell you how often I’ve heard someone say to me, “I don't have the time to workout.” For some people that is true, but for the vast majority, it isn’t. We all have some time that we can contribute to exercise, whether it’s a few hours or just 10 minutes, but we choose to spend that time doing something else. The concept of micro workouts allows you — no matter how little time you have to exercise.
Micro workouts are exactly what it sounds like, performing short but high-intensity workouts throughout the day rather than doing a whole session at once. This may look like spreading three 10-minute sessions throughout the day: morning, noon, and evening.
Benefits of Micro Workouts
Micro workouts are known to increase your EPOC( exercise post oxygen consumption), which allows you to burn more calories throughout the day due to the high intensity of micro workouts.
The biggest benefit of a micro-workout would be consistency. Micro workouts allow you to take the time you have no matter how little it’s to exercise. It allows you to build the habit of exercising on a daily basis.
